Nissan Almera 2002 problems with unlocking the doors with fob! advice please?

Hello i'm new in the forum! so im having troubles with my doors / fob.
I can not open the doors on my Almera using the key fobs. I have no problem locking the doors but once they are locked i can not open them any more with the key fobs. I have tried both fobs. And i even changed the batteries on both of them but its made no difference. At the moment i'm leaving my car parked in front of the house unlocked over night or sometimes i risk setting the alarm off at 6 in the morning , which my neighbours don't really like.

    Can anyone advise??

    Thanks a lot in advance!

I think the problem is with the unlock buttons on the fob.
If you can neither lock or unlock with the fob then the fobs have most likely lost there codes.

To recode the keys follow the steps.
Make sure all doors are unlocked. (Use key in passenger side door to do this.)

Insert the key in the ignition
Turn the key from lock position to on position ( don't start engine ) 6 times within 10 seconds then return key to lock.
After 2 seconds hazards will flash twice to indicate you are in programming mode.
    Leaving the key in ignition
1 Press and hold the unlock button then
2 Press and release the lock button 3 times
3 Now release the unlock button.
Hazards should flash once. if not repeat from 1

Leaving first key in ignition take second key and repeat from 1 above.

After programming the second key turn the ignition to on and hazards it should flash two times.

Remove keys and check they work.

You need to open up the key fobs and check if the microswitches are broken. (the little buttons) call a locksmith if they are.
